Webflow alternatives
Webflow scores 8.3/10 on our rubric, but it is not the right fit for everyone. These are the 8 strongest alternatives we score, ranked, with what each one does better and what it costs.
Why people look beyond Webflow
- Real learning curve — it is a design tool, not a wizard
- Costs add up across site and CMS plans
Who it isn't for
A first-time site owner in a hurry. The learning curve is real and measured in days, not minutes. If the goal is to be online by tomorrow, this is the wrong tool.
The best Webflow alternatives
1. B12 8.7
The fastest route from a description to a working website: an AI builder that drafts a complete site, store or simple web app from one prompt, then lets you edit it by chatting or clicking.
Better than Webflow on ease of use, value, and support.
2. Wix 8.6
The safest default if you want the most options and the least friction. You trade portability for speed.

3. Squarespace 8.4
Pick it when the site must look considered and you do not want to make design decisions.
Better than Webflow on ease of use, design, value, and support.
4. Framer 8.2

5. Carrd 8.1
Unbeatable for a single page. Choose something else the moment you need a second one.

6. WordPress 7.9
The most capable and least convenient option. Right when you want to own everything and have the time to run it.
Better than Webflow on flexibility and value.
7. Hostinger 7.5
The value pick. Watch the renewal price before committing.
Better than Webflow on ease of use and value.
8. Weebly 7.3
A cheap, simple way to get online, now effectively a front end for Square. Fine for a basic site, dated for anything more.
