How the credits work
Lovable uses a single credit balance for five kinds of usage: building (every message that changes your app), chatting, hosting the finished app and its database on Lovable Cloud, AI features inside your deployed app, and some third-party connectors. Paid plans include 100 monthly credits on top of five free build credits a day, a small monthly Cloud grant of 20 credits and a monthly AI grant of 4.
Two details matter for budgeting. Monthly plan credits roll over, but they expire two months after they are issued on a monthly plan, so they are not a savings account. Top-up credits, which you can buy on Pro and Business, last twelve months. And when the free grants run out, hosting and AI usage start drawing from the same balance you use to build.
