Who each one is for

BigCommerce. B2B sellers, merchants running several storefronts or complex catalogs, and stores that want more built in and fewer apps. The native B2B feature set is the strongest reason to choose it.

Hostinger. A first site on a tight budget, or a straightforward business presence where hosting, domain and builder in one bill is worth more than template choice. On pure cost over the first term, nothing else here competes.

Who should skip each one

BigCommerce

A first store that values ecosystem and available help. Shopify has more apps, more themes and far more people who know it.

Hostinger

Anyone who expects the site to grow into something specific. The integration and template ceiling arrives sooner than with Wix or Squarespace, and the renewal price erodes the cost advantage.

The bottom line

BigCommerce

BigCommerce makes the most sense for B2B sellers, for businesses running several storefronts, and for growing stores that want more built in and fewer apps. Start on Core if you are new, and expect the plan to follow your sales upwards.

Hostinger

Hostinger is the cheapest credible way to get a hosted site with a domain and email, especially if you are happy to prepay for four years. Choose Unlimited if you want to sell.
